What is ROM (Range Of Motion) from MyoVision?

The MyoVision Range of Motion (ROM) scan is an advanced tool designed to assess movement and detect areas of restriction or imbalance in the body. This technology plays a crucial role in evaluating the spine and surrounding muscles by providing precise measurements of mobility.

The benefits of the MyoVision ROM scan are invaluable. With this detailed information, Dr. Santiago can create personalized treatment plans that target the exact issues affecting a patient’s mobility and overall well-being. It also allows him to track progress throughout care, ensuring treatments are adjusted as needed for the best possible outcome. By utilizing the MyoVision ROM scan, Dr. Santiago provides his patients with care that is precise, effective, and tailored to their unique needs.

How is it performed?

The MyoVision Range of Motion (ROM) exam is performed by a trained member of our chiropractic assistant staff, who ensures the process is quick, comfortable, and precise. During the exam, specialized sensors are applied to the patient's body to measure movement in key areas, such as the spine and surrounding muscles. These sensors capture real-time data on the patient’s flexibility, range of motion, and any potential muscular imbalances or restrictions.

Once the scan is completed, the collected information is carefully reviewed and analyzed by Dr. James Santiago on the same day. He takes the time to discuss the results with the patient, providing a clear explanation of the findings and how they relate to the patient's overall condition.
